Incredible Breakfast and Warm Hospitality
Our stay was delightful, especially due to the amazing breakfasts crafted from fresh ingredients, allowing us to choose our favorites! The cozy rooms were spotless, and having access to a shared kitchen made meal prep super convenient. Dave and Bernie were fantastic hosts, offering great local insights without being overbearing. The only minor downside was the slight musty smell in the room, but it didn’t take away from our wonderful experience.

Rooms are clean and spacious—perfect for our family. Loved the cooking facilities, and plenty of parking too! Max and Olive, the friendly dogs, were the cherry on top!
But my fridge? Clearly more of a decorative piece than a functional appliance! I mean, who needs cold drinks on holiday, right?

A combination of hits and misses
The breakfast was fabulous, featuring choice selections like pastries and full English options that satisfied every morning. Hosts Bernie and Dave were incredibly welcoming, sharing insights about local attractions that enriched our stay.
The access to the communal kitchen was limited, making meal prep a bit inconvenient. the location required a bit of driving to reach shops and restaurants, which somewhat restricted evening plans.

We had a fridge for our drinks. loved having access to a communal kitchen too, made it easy to prepare snacks. the whole atmosphere made ur stay feel really special for us as a couple.
only bummer was that the area was a bit remote with no shops nearby, and we missed having a room refresh during our stay.

Unfortunately, I noticed a slight damp smell in the room, which wasn't ideal. The fridge in my room didn't work, which made cooling my drinks a hassle. Still, I can appreciate the effort to keep things safe.

The warm hospitality from the owners made every morning special, especially at breakfast where a range of delicious options, including cured meats, awaited. The room was immaculately clean, with plenty of storage space and access to a kitchen for additional meal prep. the fridge in the room was unfortunately not working during the stay, which was a minor inconvenience.
